Job Description: Scripter
Autumn Moon Entertainment is looking for qualified applicants to take on the responsibility of scripting current and future original adventure titles. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving all in-game events using our proprietary scripting language.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing puzzles from documentation
- Game-state tracking
- Linking animation assets with dialog to create humorous, theatrical action sequences
- Assist in debugging art assets and new engine features
- Communicate progress with the Creative Director well and frequently
- Coordinate with artists and engineers to realize the Creative Director's vision
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Providing humorous dialog where needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Programming and or scripting experience
- Passion for creating quality graphic adventure games
- Ability to quickly master proprietary tools and development processes
- Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
- Possess initiative and self direction
- Work well in a small team environment
- An elastic sense of humor is great too!
Pluses:
- Experience with version control software
- Familiarity with Maya
- Experience with Python
